You thought I might get lost
in this overcrowded castle?
We tried to distract ourselves
To stop the conversation from going too far.
I wanted to both laugh and cry at the same time,
sitting in the balcony
An image, worst than a tricky lane.
A phone call,
rampantly symbolising
your worried face.
Trash words does nothing but builds a mediocre poem.
I have left my favourite scarf there with you.
A lovely floral print with loads of colours and patterns.
Designs, finely arranged.
You thought I won't be able to cross a busy road?
Your advice works everywhere precisely.
Everything is running perfectly.
I apologised over and again for coming late that night.
A busy road only draws pattern of shadows
to stop memories from taking the ground.
I always wanted to walk in an empty street,
realising that there is no sound behind the frame.
Sunday is nothing but an illusion.
Paradise,
Paradise that seemed to be too mainstream
with bunch of banalities.
I know you'll be there
in case, if I dont find a rope on time.
I cried for months and years
after burying the last coffin of my relationship.
Loitering on the street like an orphan child,
being an imperfect daughter.
I can't catch a similar consequence
That would bring a correction.
A silence getting burnt somewhere.
Imagining your face, full of lights.
A light of care and encouragement.
Relieved.
"I'm fine Maa".
while you thought I might get lost in this overcrowded city.
